GRAPHIC DESIGNERS MELBOURNE
xCreative™ is a Melbourne graphic design studio based in Chadstone. Since 2016 we have designed print, packaging and brand collateral for more than 200 businesses across Australia. We work in both English and Chinese. Common briefs include logo design, packaging and brochures, each with its own dedicated page.
Print is where design quality gets exposed. A website can be patched after launch; a misprinted brochure is landfill. We design and print manage under one roof, next to the team doing the branding, so what comes off the press matches what you approved on screen.
Graphic Design
Print and packaging handled end to end, from artwork to production, by one team.
01
Brand Collateral
Business cards, letterheads and the everyday pieces that carry your brand. Lenta‘s cards are embossed with its own interlocking floor pattern, so a flooring supplier hands you a card you can feel.
03
Packaging Design
Packaging that stands out on shelf and survives the production line. The Rong Tea range covers tins, boxes and gift sets, photographed by our own studio so the online store matches the shelf.
04
Posters & Signage
Shopfronts, hoardings, banners and event graphics sized for where they will actually hang. TEA BAG‘s cartoon character works at sticker size and at shopfront size, which was the brief.
05
Technical & Industrial
Not everything is pretty coffee-table work. Smithfield Industrial Park‘s brochure runs architectural renderings and technical schematics, because its buyers are logistics operators who read specifications, not moods.
06
Bilingual Layouts
English and Chinese set properly in the same document, with type systems chosen so both languages look designed rather than one translated. Restaurant menus, property brochures and packaging all get this treatment.
How we work
Four steps, one team, no handovers.
01
Brief
What is this piece for, who reads it, and where does it live? Ten minutes on those questions saves three rounds of revisions.
02
Design
Concepts in context: a brochure shown as a brochure you flip, not flat pages on a slide.
03
Proof & Print
Paper stock, finishes and press checks handled by us with printers we have used for years. Colour arguments happen before printing, not after.
04
Deliver
Finished pieces plus the artwork files. Reprints are painless because the files are clean and you own them.
Why xCreative
Why the print work holds up.
Graphic design studios that never deal with printers produce beautiful PDFs that die on the press. We print manage as part of the job, which changes how we design: colours chosen from real swatches, paper specified early, finishes tested. The Austin Lara brochure cover works because the emboss was planned in week one, not requested in week six.
Print also never stands alone here. The same identity flows into the website and the photography, so your brochure, your site and your signage read as one brand. That consistency is what makes a 200-business portfolio look coherent page after page.
FAQ
Questions clients ask us.
01
Do you handle the printing itself?
We design and print manage. You get one point of contact and one invoice, and the press check is our problem, which is exactly where you want that problem to live.
02
Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes. Send the guidelines and we design within them. If the guidelines are thin we will quietly tighten them as we go, which most clients end up thanking us for.
03
How fast can you turn a job around?
Cards and simple collateral inside a week. Brochures two to four weeks including print. Rush jobs happen, but good paper stock has lead times no designer can shout at.
04
What does design cost?
Per piece or per project. A card, a catalogue and a packaging range are different jobs. Tell us what you need printed and we will quote it straight.
05
How do I find the best graphic designer in Melbourne?
Look for work in your format, because menus, packaging and brochures each need different skills. Ask for print-ready files and who deals with the printer. The best graphic designer for the job is one who has already solved a brief like yours and can show the printed result. See how to find the best graphic designer in Melbourne for the full checklist.
