WORDPRESS DEVELOPER MELBOURNE
xCreative™ designs and builds WordPress websites from our Chadstone studio, and maintains many of the sites we have shipped since 2016. Tony Deng & Co, BEKL and Grand Galaxy Chauffeur all run on WordPress builds from this studio.
WordPress earns its keep for one reason: your team can run it. We add the reasons it usually lacks: design that does not look like a theme, speed that does not feel like WordPress, and engineering when the job outgrows plugins.
WordPress
Custom WordPress that looks designed and runs properly.
02
Speed & Core Web Vitals
WordPress has a reputation for being slow, and badly built WordPress deserves it. Ours ship with caching, image discipline and clean code, tuned against Google’s speed metrics because rankings and patience both depend on them.
04
Editing Your Own Site
We hand over with training, sensible page structures and an admin that only shows what your team needs. Clients update menus, projects and staff pages themselves, which is the entire argument for WordPress.
05
Security & Maintenance
Updates, backups, monitoring and the unglamorous discipline that keeps a WordPress site off the hacked list. Most of our builds stay under our ongoing care, some for eight years and counting.
06
SEO & Bilingual Structure
Metadata, structured data, llms.txt and English and Chinese set up correctly inside WordPress from day one. This site is built the same way.
How we work
Four steps, one team, no handovers.
01
Scope
Pages, features and integrations mapped honestly, including which plugins are fine and which parts need real code.
02
Design
Your brand translated to screens, approved before build. No surprises at handover.
03
Build & Tune
Development, content, speed work and testing on actual phones, because that is where your customers are.
04
Hand Over or Stay On
Training and documentation either way, search setup live, maintenance if you want us to keep carrying it.
Why xCreative
Why WordPress from a design studio.
WordPress shops are usually developers who buy design or designers who fear code. This studio is both trades in one room, plus the branding practice that most WordPress builds never get near. The result is a site that looks like your brand, loads like a search result and grows without being rebuilt every three years.
The 200-site maintenance fleet is the other proof. We still run sites we built years ago, which means we build them to be maintainable, because future-us has to live with the shortcuts. Agencies that hand over and vanish get to cut corners we cannot.
FAQ
Questions clients ask us.
01
Why WordPress and not a website builder?
Builders rent you a site; WordPress gives you one you own, on hosting you control, with your data exportable. For businesses planning to exist in ten years, ownership wins.
02
Can you fix our existing WordPress site?
Usually, yes. We audit first and tell you honestly whether it needs repair or replacement, and we have inherited enough disasters to know the difference quickly.
03
Will our site be slow like our last WordPress site?
No. Slow WordPress is a builder problem, not a platform problem. We tune every build against Google’s speed metrics and show you the scores.
04
What does a WordPress site cost?
A brochure site, a booking platform and a bilingual build are different jobs. Tell us what the site must do and the quote will be specific.
