ECOMMERCE WEBSITE DESIGN MELBOURNE
xCreative™ designs and builds online stores and transactional websites from our Chadstone studio. The Rong Tea‘s tea store, Grand Galaxy Chauffeur‘s booking and payment platform and Cedar Elm‘s automated listing pipeline were all built here.
Selling online is a design problem and an engineering problem wearing the same shirt. The store has to look like your brand, load like a search result and take money without a stumble. We handle all three in one team, which is rarer than it should be.
Online Stores
Ecommerce and transactional builds that look designed and run properly.
01
Store Design
The Rong Tea store presents tea like a gallery and organises it like a library, with a classification system that helps a novice choose and a connoisseur find. Store design is merchandising, and merchandising is design.
02
Product Content
Stores sell with images and words, and we produce both: product photography shot in our studio and descriptions written to sell and to rank. The Rong Tea listing photos and the shelf packaging came from the same shoot.
03
Bookings & Payments
Grand Galaxy Chauffeur takes detailed ride bookings, processes payment and dispatches the job to its fleet automatically. When your product is a service, the checkout is an operations system, and we engineer it that way.
05
Bilingual Commerce
Stores serving Chinese-speaking customers get both languages built properly, product pages included. For food, tea and gift retail in Melbourne, that second language is often the difference between a browse and a basket.
06
Traffic That Converts
A store without traffic is a warehouse. SEO and AI search work brings buyers who searched for exactly what you sell, which converts far better than any ad you will ever rent.
How we work
Four steps, one team, no handovers.
01
Catalogue & Flow
What you sell, how buyers choose it and where the margin lives. The store structure follows those answers.
02
Design & Content
Store design, photography and product copy produced together so the shelf looks stocked on day one.
03
Build & Test
Checkout, shipping, payments and the boring edge cases tested before launch, because a failed payment is a customer you paid to lose.
Why xCreative
Why stores get built here.
Plenty of developers can install a shop platform. The gap is everything around it: the brand, the photography, the product writing and the search traffic, which is why so many stores launch looking empty and stay quiet. We ship the whole store, stocked and findable, because all of those trades already sit in this studio.
The engineering runs deeper than templates when it needs to. A chauffeur dispatch platform and a portal-syncing property pipeline are not plugin installs, they are systems we designed and built. If your business model needs the store to do something unusual, that is the part we enjoy.
Shopify and WooCommerce
Which platform suits you.
We build online stores on Shopify and on WooCommerce. Shopify suits most retailers: hosting, security and payments are handled for you, and staff can manage products without training. WooCommerce suits businesses that need a store inside a larger WordPress site, or custom booking and quoting, as we built for Grand Galaxy Chauffeur.
Either way we design the store around your products, shoot them in our studio (product and commercial photography) and set up the product pages so they can rank in Google.
FAQ
Questions clients ask us.
01
Shopify or WooCommerce?
Whichever fits your catalogue, margins and team. We build both and will tell you plainly which one your business suits, including when the honest answer is the cheaper one.
02
Can you migrate our existing store without losing sales history?
Yes. Products, customers, orders and the URL equity your store has earned all come across, with redirects mapped so Google does not lose track of you mid-move.
03
Do you write the product descriptions?
Yes, from your product facts, in the brand voice, structured to rank. Manufacturer boilerplate is duplicated on fifty other stores and Google knows it.
04
What does an online store cost?
A twenty-product boutique and a custom booking platform are different jobs. Tell us what you sell and we will quote it straight.
